In Echoes of the End Chapter 1, there are several hidden collectibles to find. This guide will show you every collectible location step by step from Chapter 1 in Echoes of the End.
Secret #1 (Journal – Syrouvian Ranger’s Insignia)
At the start of the chapter, climb the wooden beam sticking out of the first tower. Then go to the right and follow the wooden pathway around the tower to reach a chest containing a Journal.
Secret #2 (Journal – Valestin’s Note)
As you move forward in the chapter, enter the first cave. Climb down the wall to the bottom, then head right to find a chest near the water.
Secret #3 (Journal – Setweave Compass)
Continue through the chapter until you reach the part where you remove a wooden block to start turning the crank. Climb up the wall, then head left to find a chest with Secret #3
Optional Conversation #1
After the first mini-boss fight, interact with the hanging carcass to complete the conversation.
Secret #4 (Journal – Valestin’s Note)
Journal – Valestin’s Note is in a chest on the beach before pulling the rope.
Secret #5 (Health Upgrade)
Secret #5 (Health Upgrade) is located in a chest inside a tent at a camp guarded by two enemies.
Secret #6 (Journal – Broken Focal Brace)
This chest becomes available after you use a torch to burn the vines and lower the bridge. Cross the bridge and check the small room on the right to find the chest.
Secret #7 (Journal – Syrouvian Sword) & Optional Conversation #2
This chest is available after a fight. After the fight, pull down the cube and use it to climb the wall.
Secret #8 (Journal – Bronze Bracelet)
This secret chest is located on top of a wall after the clog and wheel puzzle.
Secret #9 (Journal – Valestin’s Note)
Use your power to pull and release the rope to open the gate for the first time in the game. After crossing the gate, go right to find a chest with Journal – Valestin’s Note.
Optional Conversation #3
Progress through the chapter until you reach a camp filled with enemies and defeat them. Then head to the cliff’s edge beside the tent to unlock Optional Conversation #3.
Secret #10 (Mana Upgrade)
From the camp, take the path on the left and follow the cliffside. Then climb up the vines to reach the next chest.
Secret #11 (Health Upgrade)
Progress through the chapter and use two ziplines. After the second zipline, climb the wall on the left to find a chest.
