This article will guide you to give a complete walkthrough of the “Fog Rift Catacombs” in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Fog Rift Catacombs is one of the minor dungeons located northwest of Castle Ensis.
How to Get to Fog Rift Catacombs
To reach the Fog Rift Catacombs, you need to cross the Ellac Greatbridge and reach the castle Front Site of Grace.
From the site of Grace Proceed northward, and go through the mountain pass. Carefully go down the ridge and push your way deeper into the valley as fog begins to reach the entrance to the Fog Rift Catacombs.
Fog Rift Catacombs Walkthrough
The Fog Rift Catacombs is an optional dungeon in Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC but the player can complete it to find some valuable items. Enter the Catacombs and go down using the elevator to activate the Site of Grace.

Proceed ahead into the first larger room. Proceed with caution here, since entering the space will cause the spiked ceiling to come down. As soon as you enter the area, pull back to set off the spiked trap. Once the trap releases run quickly to enter the next tunnel.

Great Ghost Glovewort
Proceed further and go down the stairs. At this point, don’t jump down directly. Wait for the spiked ceiling to collapse and then jump on top of it to reach the platform above it.
Follow the tunnel on the south (west) till the end to find the Great Ghost Glovewort.
Electrocharge (Incantation)
Backtrack to the stairs where you got on top of the spiked ceiling, and dropped down below. Follow the tunnel on the west, go down the elevator, and follow the linear path to reach another hall with a spiked ceiling.
Here go to the 2nd alcove on the left and drop down into the hole to reach another larger room.
Proceed to the next room and then to the third room to find Electrocharge on a corpse.
Blinkbolt (Ash of War)
Return to the previous room and climb the ladder on the northern wall. Follow the path to reach the same room with the spiked ceiling where you dropped down into the hole.
Go to the raised platform on the south side of the room. Wait for the spiked ceiling to collapse, then jump into the gap on its side.
Ride the spiked ceiling platform to reach the next platform, where you will find the Ash of War: Blinkbolt.
Stone-Sheathed Sword
Now, climb onto the spiked ceiling platform and enter the alcove on the west wall. Inside, you will find the Stone-Sheathed Sword.
Death Knight’s Twin Axes + Crimson Amber Medallion
Return to the previous room with a raised platform, head to the path on the west, and use the elevator to go down.
Pass through the yellow fog to start a mini-boss fight. Defeat the mini-boss Death Knight to obtain the Death Knight’s Twin Axes and the Crimson Amber Medallion.
