Ironeye is one of the most mysterious and powerful characters in Elden Ring: Nightreign, and unlocking their Remembrance Quests is essential if you’re aiming for rare loot and late-game upgrades. Step 1: Unlock Remembrance Quest for Ironeye
To begin Ironeye’s Remembrance questline in Elden Ring: Nightreign, make sure to start the game by selecting Ironeye as your playable character. Once in the game, follow the main story to unlock the initial journal entries tied to Ironeye’s story.
Finally, to unlock Chapter 4, you must defeat at least one Nightlord while playing as Ironeye. Only after these conditions are met will the Remembrance quest for Ironeye become available.
Step 2: Start Remembrance Quest
Head to the Journal in Roundtable Hold, and you’ll see Chapter 4 with a “Begin Remembrance” option. Activating it takes you into a special realm called the Realm of Remembrance.
Step 3: Accept Personal Objective
Once you enter the Realm of Remembrance, begin by opening your map. You’ll notice a marker pointing to a Priestess NPC, identified with an exclamation point. Head over to her and start a conversation about the Fellowship and The Traitor.
After the dialogue, she will offer you a Personal Objective—accept this task, which requires you to eliminate a band of the Condemned as part of Ironeye’s remembrance journey.
Note: Only one personal objective can be active per expedition.
Now, during an expedition, look for the red flag marker on the map —that’s your personal target.
Complete the objective by defeating your “traitor clone” (essentially a version of yourself).
Step 4: Return the Traitor’s Letter
After defeating your clone traitor, you’ll receive a key item called the Traitor’s Letter. Make your way back to the Priestess at the Roundtable Hold. Speak with her and present the letter to end Chapter 4 of Ironeye’s Remembrance.
As a reward, you’ll obtain Ironeye’s Chalice.
Step 5: Progress through Chapter 6: A Cryptic Journey
To unlock Chapter 6 of Ironeye’s Remembrance, you first need to defeat four different Nightlords while playing as Ironeye. After you do this, open your Journal and click on “Resume Remembrance.” This time, the Priestess is in a new place called the Crypt.
To find the Crypt, go to the Small Jar Bazaar. Look for some stairs going down, and you’ll see a new door that has opened. Enter the Crypt, inside you will meet both the Priestess and the Traitor again. The Traitor will ask you to end his life, but you can’t do it unless you have a special item called the Edge of Order.
Step 6: Defeating the Darkdrift Knight
To get the Edge of Order, start an expedition where you have to fight the Darkdrift Knight Nightlord. Make sure you are in Remembrance mode when you do this.
After you beat the Darkdrift Knight, wait for the victory screen to show up. Then, you will get the Edge of Order. This is a special item and part of the Spear of Falore. You need it to finish your quest with the Traitor.
Step 7: Execute the Traitor & end Chapter 6
Go back to the Crypt with the Edge of Order. Use the Edge of Order to execute the Traitor. Then, talk to the Priestess again. She will tell you the rest of the story to complete Chapter 6.
Step 8: Final Chapter (7): Face the Night Aspect
The journal will tell you to face the Night Aspect, a very powerful Nightlord. After you defeat the Night Aspect, you will find a corpse nearby. Use the “Clench Dagger” option on the corpse to start Ironeye’s Ending.
Step 9: Final Reward: Remembrance Skin
After you complete the quest, you will unlock the special Remembrance Skin for Ironeye.
