In this guide I’ll show you everything you need to know about the new Elemental Presets – Day 1 | Vibro Crystal Research Event. Elemental Presets starts on 21st April. We can get up to 420 primogems in Vibro Crystal Research Event. In this event, you need to help a researcher from Fontaine with their investigation on the outskirts of the Chasm.
Summary
During the event, help the Fontaine researcher who has come to Liyue to study the harmonic motion between gems known as Vibro-Crystals. During the first 6 days of the event, one new challenge will be unlocked each day.
How To Unlock & Start Location
You need to be Adventure Rank 28+ and Complete “Rite of Parting” Sub-Quest of Chapter 1: Act 3 Archon Quest as prerequesite to start the quest.
To initiate the event, head to Liyue Harbor and talk to Katheryne from Adventurers’ Guild. She will tell you about Patrice (NPC) who has commisson this event. Finally, go to Patrice in The Chasm to begin a challenge. The researcher from Fontaine is presently on the outskirts of The Chasm.
Vibro-Crystal Connections
Next, configure the Vibro-Crystal setup by choosing “Transmitter Crystals” that govern the trigger conditions for the buff effects and “Receiver Crystals” that trigger the buffs once the conditions are met.
- Each Transmitter Crystal can only project its radiation upon one Receiver Crystal. However, each Receiver can receive transmissions from 3 Transmitters.
- After connecting Transmitter and Receiver Crystals, when the trigger conditions of the corresponding Transmitter Crystal is reached in the challenge, the buff effect of the corresponding Receiver Crystal can be obtained. Only the character that triggered the “Transmitter Crystal” will receive the buff effects.
Choose a Stage and Difficulty
After speaking with Patrice, you have to choose the stage and the difficulty before entering the Vibro-Crystal Setup. The higher the difficulty, the more points you’ll get. All six stages will have different domain details and enemies!
Target Marked Enemies
Before starting on the challenges, you can look at your enemies, and you’ll see that some of them will be marked. Those marked enemies might be stronger than the other enemies and will get you more points.
Characters Setup
The challenges are split into a first half and a second-half. Here you need to set charcter for both the half. You can use characters provided by the event (trial character) or your own to form. Trial characters to use during the event, including are Venti, Raiden, Xiangling and Xingqiu.
Transmitter Crystals Sets Conditions
Transmitter Crystals are the ones that will provide the conditions to get the buffs from the Receiver Crystals.
Multiple Transmitters on a Receiver Crystal
You can connect all three Transmitter Crystals into one Receiver Crystals, which will give you more options to trigger the buff from it, but it will also limit the buff you get to one.
Receiver Crystals
Receiver Crystals are the ones that give the buff once you’ve triggered them using the Transmitter Crystals. Various buffs will appear per stage as shown in below image.
During this challenge, you must defeat opponents that constantly emerge to obtain points within the allotted time. Of those opponents.
