All Evolution Stones Location: Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Guide

There are several evolutionary items you’ll need to find to evolve your Pokémon. Evolution Stones are a fundamental part of Pokemon, whether it’s by leveling up, trading with friends, etc. This walkthrough will show you where to look for all Evolution Stone in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.


Dawn Stone

This walkthrough will show you where to look for a Dawn Stone in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

#1: Pickup

The fastest way to find a Dawn Stone is to capture a Pokémon with the Pickup ability. If your Pokemon ( like Pachirisu ) has the Pickup ability and are in your party, they can pick up items for you as you travel.

#2: Mount Coronet

You can also find Dawn Stones inside Mount Coronet. Head into Mt Coronet from Route 207 which is located north of Oreburgh City. Go to the bottom of the screen, then surf on the patch of water next to the smashable rocks. On the other side, you will find a Dawn Stone.

#3: Route 225

After defeating the Elite Four, you can obtain another Dawn Stone from Route 225, which is located next to the Survival Area. After defeating the trainer guarding use Rock Climb on the northern wall at the top of the route to grab the Dawn Stone.


Dusk Stone

This walkthrough will show you where to look for a Dawn Stone in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. There are two Dusk Stones to find.

#1 Galactic Warehouse

First, defeat Jupiter at Lake Acuity to obtain the warehouse storage Key. Go to the Galactic Warehouse area on the left side of Veilstone City. Dusk Stone can be found just inside the warehouse.

#2 Victory Road

After the Elite Four, you can enter a new area on Victory Road. The Dusk Stone can be found in the final room inside of Victory Road area. Once inside, climb all the way to the top on the left and push aside the rocks to reach the Dusk Stone.

#3 Bogsunk Cavern

The third location where you can find Dusk Stone is Bogsunk Cavern inside Grand Underground.


Shiny Stone

There are several evolutionary items you’ll need to find to evolve your Pokémon. The Shiny Stone is one of many evolution items. If you’re trying to get the sleep and Toxic-specialist Roserade or the flying-flincher Togekiss on your roster then you need to track down a Shiny Stone. This walkthrough will show you where to look for a Shiny Stone in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

#1: Pickup

The fastest way to find a Shiny Stone is to capture a Pokémon with the Pickup ability. If your Pokemon ( like Pachirisu ) has the Pickup ability and are in your party, they can pick up items for you as you travel.

#Abandoned mine on Iron Island

In Canalave City, go to Sailor Anchors Aweigh and sail to the Iron island for free. Head inside the abandoned mine and go right at the first fork to enter a large area. Go to the bottom right and take the elevator to go down.

In the second large room again, stick to the right side and go to the bottom and take the elevator to go down. In the next room take another elevator to go up to find Shiny Stone.

# Route 228

In the post-game, after you’ve defeated the Elite Four you can find another Shiny Stone on Route 228 above the Resort Area. From the Resort Area head to Route 228 in the north direction. You will see the sand storm kick in. Pass the first mudslide and at the second mudslide hop on to Bike and switch on Mach mode. Cross the beam to get the Shiny Stone.


Thunder Stone

This walkthrough will show you where to look for a Thunder Stone in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

# Sunyshore City

The Thunder Stone can be found behind the Vista Lighthouse in Sunyshore City. Follow the raised bridges to the right until you reach a staircase. Go to the bottom of a long staircase, where you’ll find the item Pokeball.

# Route 229

After defeating the Elite Four, you’ll be able to find another on Route 229, just north of the Resort Area.

# Grand Underground

Thunder Stones can be obtained by digging out the bulging walls found in the Grand Underground.


Moon Stone

Moon Stones can be obtained by digging in the Grand Underground. You can also get it by catching Clefairy in Mt Coronet.


Water Stone

# Route 213

Pass through Pastoria city and make your way to Route 213. Make your way down to the beach. On the right, you will find a fisherman. From here start surfing downwards into the rocky water and then make your way to the right. Then go up past the double battle to grab the water stone.

Another potential way to get Water Stones can be obtained by digging in the Grand Underground.


Leaf Stone

# Floaroma Meadow

Head to Route 205 from Floaroma Town. Then start surfing in the river, and this will take you through a long river path to Floaroma Meadow. Walk through to the Floaroma Meadow and in the flowerbeds to find a Leaf Stone.

Another potential way to get Leaf Stones can be obtained by digging in the Grand Underground.


Fire Stone

# Fuego Ironworks Building

Head to Route 205 from Floaroma Town. Then start surfing in the river, and this will take you through a long river path. Go inside the Fuego Ironworks building on the northern side. Make your way through the spinning floor tiles you can find a Fire Stone next to the far right wall.

# Mr. Fuego

Inside the same building, from the previous location of Firestone location go down (south) and to the left to find Mr. Fuego talk to him for the first time and you will get another firestone.
