This article will guide the player on how to complete the objective ‘Explore the Depths of Naku Tedek‘ for the side quest ‘Ancient Soil‘ in Avowed.
Secret Chest #1
Head to Naku Tedek in Emerald Stair. Once you are inside the Naku Tedek, go up the stairs and into the backroom.
Continue ahead and climb down the wooden branch. Don’t drop down to the bottom. Follow the wooden branch to the right side to find the first secret chest.
Secret Room #2
Now drop to the bottom level. Proceed ahead along the path and take the left path when the path divides. Shock the essence generator with Giatta’s Spectral Jolt ability to open the door.
Go inside the room and turn to the right to find a large tree root. Freeze the water ahead of you with a Frost spell and cross the frozen pathway onto the tree root.
Finally, climb up the ledge and turn right to discover the Effigy Necklace. Don’t forget to check the corner of the area for a secret chest.
Secret Chest #3
Go back to the previous room, and this time go to the path on the right. Use an electric spell to open the door. On the other side, you’ll find a long water-filled corridor. First, burn the branches on your left and jump over to reach a hidden chest.
Secret Room #4
Freeze the water to jump toward the wall and continue forward. In the next large area, go down the stairs and turn around to face the mural painting. There, you’ll find another locked door. Peek through the vines on the side and use an electric spell to unlock it. Inside, you’ll discover a chest.
Move into the next room, where a waterfall flows down in an underground section and the floor sparks with electricity. Use ice to make a platform, then jump onto the branches on the left. Climb up to find two small openings on both sides of the wall, each holding hidden treasure. After grabbing the treasure, follow the branch to reach the other side safely.
Secret Underwater Area
On the other side, cast an electric spell on the panel near the door to disable the electricity in the water. Then, head back and dive in the hole. Swim through the underwater passage to reach a new section.
Here look for a locked door and use an electric spell on the panel to unlock the door. Enter the room and climb up the wooden branches to find another chest.
Secret Room #5
Swim back out of the underwater section and continue forward into the next area. There, search for a breakable wall on the left. Destroy it to reveal another chest and a skeleton.
Head into the next room and collect the Giant’s Slumber weapon from the center.
Secret Room #6
Defeat the enemies and continue forward. Along the spiral staircase, you’ll find another chest—collect it before moving ahead.
As you enter a larger room, you’ll come face-to-face with Sapadal. After defeating Sapadal, you’ll come across a door that requires activating three panels to unlock. Follow the wires from each panel and use an electric spell to power them, opening the door.
