The Explore the Facility Interior objective is part of the Beneath the Lunar Sea quest in Genshin Impact. As you explore the ancient facility, you’ll need to restore power using the Ancient Moon Pearls and Archaeolune Ripples. This guide walks you through every step to help you explore the facility interior and complete the objective without getting stuck.
How to Explore the Facility Interior
Once you’re inside the facility, follow the path deeper until you reach an area with two power stations. One of the stations already has an Ancient Moon Pearl installed, so you only need to find one more pearl to restore power.
Start by heading to the left and entering the area with several enemies. Defeat all the enemies.
Head toward the jellyfish floating beside the pile of stone debris.
Use your Archaeolune Ripples (energy bombs) to destroy the rubble blocking the area. Once the debris is cleared, a large container will rise from the center of the room.
Walk over to the container and interact with it. This will activate an Ancient Moon Pearl Launcher, which you’ll use to send a pearl to the power station.
Next, look up toward the ceiling. You’ll see a blue energy barrier holding several Ancient Moon Pearls in place. Throw an Archaeolune Ripple at the barrier to break it, causing the pearls to fall to the floor below.
Guide one of the Ancient Moon Pearls into the launcher, then activate the launcher to fire the pearl across the room. After it lands, continue striking the pearl to roll it toward the empty power station. Once the Ancient Moon Pearl reaches the socket, it will automatically lock into place and restore power.
