[FAR CRY 5] Henbane River – Side Missions

1. Our Better Angel

It starts at Nolan’s Fly Shop in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. Liberate the shop to unlock the mission. 

After liberating the shop, talk to a female resistance soldier in a hat. She will tell The Junior Deputy about several Angels (Bliss addicts) that are being held in the basement. Go inside the shop and find the basement. Kill the 7 Angels inside.

2. Quiet on the Set

It starts near the Grimalkin Radon Mine in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. The quest giver is Guy Marvel. The mission is a reference to Far Cry Blood Dragon.

3. The Judge Bear

It starts at King’s Hot Springs Hotel in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. Liberate the hotel to unlock the mission. The quest giver is a male resistance fighter.

There is a bear who is crazy due to the drug Bliss and he wants The Junior Deputy to kill it. Go to the location he puts on the map and find the entrance to Lydia’s Cave. Due the the influence of the drug, the bear won’t be easy to hit and can teleport around. It will also take quite a bit of damage to kill it. Once it’s dead the mission will automatically complete.

4. Ragnar the Terrible

It starts at the Drubman Marina in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. Liberate the marina to unlock the mission. The quest giver is a female soldier near the docks.

Take a boat to the island, then locate the fishing pole. Players aren’t required to use it if they have better, but are still required to find and pick it up. Catch the fish to complete the mission.

5. River Armed Convoy

It takes place in several rivers inside Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. This mission unlocks after the Clean Water Act Story Mission is completed.

The Junior Deputy finds out that Faith is pretty mad after the events of Clean Water Act. She is sending the gunboats out to find the player. Basically take the boats out by any means necessary. Doing so from the air will be easier and faster obviously, so calling a helicopter from the county jail may be the best way to finish this mission.

6. Broken Path

It takes place at Eden’s Convent inside Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. This mission unlocks once Eden Convent is liberated. The quest giver is a female resistance fighter.

Players will need to protect the entrances from the north, west, and south sides. Helicopters will appear on the south side and will need to be dispatched as well. Using the mounted machine gun is the ideal way to complete the mission.

7. Fast

It starts at Aubrey’s Diner near Sacred Skies Lake in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. Players are asked to gather items and complete an obstacle course. The quest giver is Tweak who can be found behind the diner.

8. Furious

It takes place at Prosperity in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. This mission is unlocked after completing the Fast side mission. The quest giver is Tweak.

9. The Judge Cougar

It starts at the Sacred Skies Youth Camp in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. Liberating the camp will unlock the mission. The quest giver is a female soldier.

A soldier asks The Junior Deputy to kill a cougar that has gone crazy with Bliss. The waypoint will be marked on the player’s map in the Dead Man’s River area. Due to the influence of the drug, the cougar is tougher than normal. Having to fight it near the white flowers will impede the player’s senses, and cause hallucinations. They will see different animals and each one will have to be ‘killed’ to make them disappear. Once they are gone, the cougar will continue to move higher up the hill. Kill the cougar to end the mission.

10. Refuel

It starts at Lorna’s Truck Stop in Faith Seed’s region of Henbane River. Liberate the truck stop to unlock the mission.

After liberating the truck stop, talk to the guy inside. The gas station needs fuel and he wants The Junior Deputy to steal and bring back a tanker. Go to the waypont marked on the map and bring the tanker back to the station.
