This guide shows how to complete the “Lament of the Damned” Side Quest in chapter 11 in the Corel Region of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, released on 29th February 2024.

Starting Location
Head to the Town Hall in Nibelheim. Talk to the Supervisor inside the town hall to begin the quest.
Investigate Shinra Manor
Head to the Shinra Manor and enter through the front door to start a cutscene where you will meet Vincent (NPC)
Investigate the Lower Levels
After the cutscene, start following Barret to an elevator.
Enter the elevator and then choose Mako Research Facility – Sub-Basement.
Once in the basement, follow Vincent to another elevator and collect the keycard.
Go down in the elevator and follow Vincent again.
Complete the Combat Simulator Challenges
Activate the pillar in front of you to trigger a time-limit combat encounter against the enemies.
Identify the Voice
After the fight follow the newly open path and find another Hojo hologram at the end. Defeat Dranabaga to end the quest.
