This article will guide the player on how to complete the objective “Find out what medicine to give to Captain Thomas ” for the quest ‘ For whom the Bell Tolls” in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
After finding Captain Thomas, leave the building and head back to the blacksmith area on the western side as shown in the map.
You will find a stair on the opposite side of the blacksmith store. Go stairs to the upper floor to find a guard. Give him some food and you can sneak past easily when he starts eating.
Continue heading upstairs until you encounter another guard. Distract the guard by throwing a stone. Keep going upstairs and pass through the red door to enter a small hallway with two doors. Choose the door on the right, where you’ll find an alchemist’s bench and a woman named Katherine.
Talk to her and say, “I need to find some medicine for Thomas.” You’ll have to pass a skill check, but the outcome doesn’t matter. Once she leaves the room, take the book “Physician’s Journal” from the shelf.
Read every page of the book to unlock the “Fever Tonic”.
