Star-Crossed Lovers is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This guide will show you how to find the Armourer’s Daughter and complete the Star-Crossed Lovers quest.
Starting Location
To start the quest, head to the Armourer in the northern part of Maragir Town. Speak with the Armourer to learn that her daughter went into the forest to pick berries but has not returned. This will begin the Star-Crossed Lovers quest.
Find the armourer’s daughter
The Armourer tells you that her daughter went northeast into the forest to pick berries. Head to the forest just northeast of Maragir Crossroads and follow the path through the woods. Continue along the trail until you find a dead body lying next to a log. Refer to the map to see the exact location.
Once you reach the body, look around the area and collect the Small Knife and Bottle of Wine from the ground. Then, loot the Recruitment Letter from the nearby sack.
After collecting all three items, use Compel on the corpse. You can then use the Small Knife, Bottle of Wine, and Recruitment Letter as catalysts. Examine each clue to learn more about what happened and discover the whereabouts of the Armourer’s daughter.
Inspect the area using Focus Mode
After investigating all the clues, you’ll make a conclusion that the date did not go well. From there, activate Focus Mode and look for the yellow-highlighted footprints on the ground. Follow the footprints southeast through the forest.
Keep following the trail until you eventually reach two wolves feeding on the daughter’s corpse.
Once the wolves are dealt with, approach the daughter’s corpse.
Return to the armourer
Finally, return to Maragir Crossroads and report the bad news to the armourer.
