This article will guide you on how to complete the quest “Find the Missing Boots” in Baldur’s Gate 3. Find The Missing Boots can be acquired in the underground area of Underdark – Beach during Chapter 1.
Starting Location
To start the quest, fast travel to the Underdark – Beach teleport waypoint where you will meet Gekh Coal (NPC). Don’t fight with him. He will tell that a duergar ordered them to find a runaway slave if they wanted to live. The slave has a pair of boots that belong to the duergar’s sergeant.
Get the Boots
Once you’ve agreed to assist him, proceed to the Myconid Colony Teleport waypoint in Underdark to locate the runaway slave – Thulla. You’ll find Thulla lying on top of a mushroom near the teleport point.
Roll the dice for a [Investigation] check and then “Take the Boots“.

Talk to Gekh
Go back to Underdark – Beach and inform Gekh Coal (NPC) about the boots. Upon doing so, he will request that you deliver the boots to “Sergeant Thrinn” at the camp.
Talk to Sergeant Thrinn
Take the Underdark Duergar Boats and venture into the darkness. Once at the camp, you’ll encounter Crosair Greymon (NPC). Choose the first option, stating that you are seeking Sergeant Thrinn.
Next, you will meet Morghal (NPC) who will ask you to make a donation. Select the dialogue “I’m not giving you a single coin“
Finally, talk to Sergeant Thrinn and give her the missing boots. The quest will end here. If you give the Boots of Speed to Sergeant Thrinn you can choose between a ring called Bracing Band or a Robust Chain Shirt.
