This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the First Miasmic Contact world quest in Genshin Impact 2.6, which released on 30th March 2022. You get this quest automatically during the Chasm Spelunkers world quest.
Head to investigate the site of the first anomaly
After you get the quest, fast travel to the waypoint marked in the picture below.
From the waypoint. climb up the stairs on the south side. Then turn left and glide to the jumping stone as shown in the picture below. Stepping on the stone will throw you up, which you can use to climb on the beam of the wooden stair tower.
Walk on the stair tower beam to reach the next jumping stone as shown in the picture below. Step on the stone and it will throw you to the upper level. Go inside the tunnel here as shown in the second picture below.
After coming out of the tunnel, interact with the marker to take a picture. This will complete the objective.
Defeat the monsters influenced by the dark mud
After taking the picture, proceed south and defeat the two enemies on the path as shown in the picture below.
Head to investigate the site of the second anomaly
After defeating the enemies, continues ahead on the path going down south until you reach the objective marker as shown below. As you reach the marker, a cutscene will start and the quest will be complete.
