You will get the objective to ‘Restore the Fishing Shrine‘ in the Forgotten Forest during ‘Taro’s Love – Restore the Ancient Shrines to open the Guardian Tree‘ mission as shown in the picture below. To restore the fishing shrine you will need to clean the corruption from the shrine. This article shows how to solve the Fishing Shrine Puzzle to complete the objective. I will first explain how the puzzle works and then solve it.
How to Solve Fishing Shrine Puzzle
Near the shrine, you will find four stone pillars with a blue crystal at its center. If you shoot the four crystals quickly, two flying enemies will appear and attack you. You can keep doing this over and over but nothing will happen, that’s because you will need to shoot the crystals in the correct order to solve the puzzle.
In front of the shrine, you will find four stacks of candles as shown in the picture below. One of the stacks will have 1 candle, One will have 2 candles, One will have 3 candles and one will have 4 candles. The number of candles represents the sequence in which you need to hit the crystals as shown in the picture below.
Restore the Fishing Shrine
To restore the shrine, you need to shoot the four stone pillars in the correct order. Pillar 1 is on the right side at the back of the shrine as shown below. This will light the candle group with 1 candle.
Pillar 2 is on the right side in front of the shrine as shown below. This will light the candle group with 2 candles.
Pillar 3 is on the left side in front of the shrine as shown below. This will light the candle group with 3 candles.
Pillar 4 is on the left side of the shrine as shown below. This will light the candle group with 4 candles.
Shooting the four pillars in the correct order will light up all the candles in front of the shrine and a corrupted bulb will appear as shown in the picture below. Shoot the corrupted bulb to destroy it and clean the shrine.
