You need the “Simple Key” to access the area. This key can be purchased from a shopkeeper in Bone Bottom.
Where to find Flintslate Tool in Hollow Knight Silksong
Flintslate Tool can be found inside the Deep Docks. Start by entering the Deep Docks area from the lower right side of “The Marrow”.
After entering the Deep Docks, follow the main path forward until the ground ahead drops below. Jump down to meet the NPC Shakra. Here you can purchase the map of the Deep Docks.
Continue moving to the right side until you enter the next area. Here, interact with the lever on the floor to open up a path beneath you. Drop down through it.
At the bottom, head left and use a chained platform to lower yourself further into the area.
Once you reach the bottom again, head right and prepare to defeat a group of enemies near the lava. After clearing them out, continue to the right and carefully jump across the lava gap to reach a locked door.
Use a Simple Key to unlock the door and head inside. This will open up the next section leading toward the Flintslate Tool.
Continue your journey to the right side. Pass the first set of chained platforms hanging above lava and keep moving forward. Eventually, you’ll reach a second lava area with more chained platforms.
Instead of continuing straight, move upward on the platforms and turn around to access the higher path above the previous route.
Continue all the way to the end of the path. Here, you’ll finally discover the Flintslate Tool.
