Follow Birdie’s Trail
After you have talked to Barney during the “Unruly Brother” quest, irrespective of whatever option you choose, he will ask you to find Birdie. After talking to Barney, jump down to the lower floor and interact with the handprint near the door as shown in the picture below.
Then open the door and go outside. Use the survivor sense and follow the footprints. The footprints will lead you to a window as shown in the picture below. Climb up the window to enter the house.
As you enter the house, you will see a corpse sitting next to a bed right in front of the window. The trail of the footsteps will end on this bed. There is a hole in the roof above this bed. Climb up the roof as shown in the picture below to reach the upper level.
On the upper level, you will find a staircase. Climb up the stairs and it will take you to a GRE crate contacting an inhibitor as shown below.
Next to the crate is a half-blocked door. Squeeze through the small opening in the doorway and you will find Birdie inside. This will complete the objective.
