This article will guide you through Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Forgotten Memories: Nurturing Quest, outlining all the steps you need to complete every objective and where to plant the Night Thorn Seeds. Forgotten Memories: Nurturing is a fourth-story Quest that is given by the Fairy Godmother in the Dreamscape after the quest Forgotten Memories: Trust.
Starting Location
Once you have successfully completed the Forgotten Memories: Trust quest, talk to the Fairy Godmother at the last gateway to start the quest. After passing through the gateway, go and talk to Scar, who is standing just in front of the pillar.

After speaking with Scar, your objective will be to crush eight flowers with orange petals scattered throughout the biome. Approach each flower and select the “Remove” option. These flowers are easily noticeable due to their sparkling and substantial size.

Return to Scar and communicate with him to learn about your next objective. Scar will provide you with 25 Night Thorn Seeds. Your task is to plant 5 seeds near 3 distinct locations, resulting in a total of 15 seeds planted.
You will need to plant the Night Thorn Seeds in three specific locations:
- Near the giant Dreamlight Tree (5)
- Near the Pillar of Nurturing (5)
- Near the Mine entrance and the waterfall (5)
Dreamlight Tree
Look for the Giant Dreamlight Tree situated near the gateway portal. It stands out from the surrounding trees as the sole large tree in the center with dangling vines.
Pillar of Nurturing
When you face the Giant Dreamlight Tree, you’ll discover the Pillar of Nurturing positioned along the river trail to the left. It is located on the opposite side of the Mine Entrance and Waterfall.

To proceed, equip your shovel and dig five holes in each designated location. Then, carefully plant the Night Thorn Seeds. Ensure to water the thorns after planting them to facilitate growth and register progress toward your objective.
After planting all 15 seeds, recover the Orb of Nurturing that dropped in front of the Pillar, then return to Scar near his cave.
Finally, make your way to Merlin and engage in a conversation. Subsequently, you will be transported back to Dreamscape. Retrieve the Memory of Nurturing from the pedestal and then proceed to talk to the Fairy Godmother to successfully end the Forgotten Memories: Nurturing Quest.
