This guide shows how to complete the Foster Family side quest in Dying light 2. This quest will be available after you have completed the Main Quest “A Place To Call Home”.
How to start Foster Family side quest
You will get this quest by talking to Hugn at the location shown in the pictures below. This quest will be available after you have completed the Main Quest “A Place To Call Home”. He will ask you to save his son, who has gone missing in the water tower.
Find the lost boy
The lost boy is in the Wharf water tower, which is on the northeastern side of Muddy Grounds as shown in the picture below.
To enter the water tower compound, jump on the platform above the locked gate. Then jump on the rods to reach the platform on the right side as shown in the picture below.
Now go inside the water tower and clear the area of the infected.
Now go to the basement through the opening in the floor as shown below.
You will find the lost boy at the bottom level of the basement area as shown below. If you have already liberated the water tower before starting the quest, then the boy might not appear due to a bug. You can also jump in the water and get the underground safe, with the safe code 3-21-67 for the Treasure Hunt Side Quest.

Go and talk to Hugh at the location marked below to complete the quest.
