This article will guide the player on how to complete the secret quest “From Ashes to Wisdom” in WOW: The War Within.
Starting Location
Speak with Alyx at the main tent of the Caverns of Time to pick up the quest – A Legacy of Desctruction. She is wearing a white dress and is the Volunteer Assistant Guest Relations Manager.
Alyx will direct you to the pet area, located west of the stage. In this area, you’ll find Void Fire by the well. After completing Alyx’s initial quest, you can accept From Ashes to Wisdom.
From Ashes to Wisdom Walkthrough
In the quest ‘Ashes to Wisdom,’ players need to show Void Fire key locations of Deathwing’s destruction across four sites in the Eastern Kingdoms.
#1 Deathwing’s Destruction Location
The first location is in Burning Steppes in the Eastern Kingdoms. Go to the location marked on the map and use the Welling Whistle to summon Void Fire.
#2 Deathwing’s Destruction Location
The second location is in Badlands in the Eastern Kingdoms. Go to the location marked on the map and use the Welling Whistle to summon Void Fire.
#3 Deathwing’s Destruction Location
The third location is in Twilight Highlands in the Eastern Kingdoms. Go to the location marked on the map and use the Welling Whistle to summon Void Fire.
#4 Deathwing’s Destruction Location
The last location is in Vashj’lr in the Eastern Kingdom. Fly to the location marked on the map and dive into the water. Go all the way to the bottom and use the whistle to summon Void Fire.
