Theater Mechanicus: Stage of Brilliance Event Guide | Genshin Impact

This guide shows how to complete the Theater Mechanicus: Stage of Brilliance in Genshin Impact. Theater Mechanicus makes its return as part of the Hues of the Violet Garden event. It is a tower defense mini-game in which you must stop enemies from escaping by using Mechanici and Elemental reactions.

How to Unlock Theater Mechanicus

To unlock Theater Mechanicus, you must be Adventure Rank 30 or above and must have completed the “True Tales of the Violet Garden: Act II – What the Blue Flowers Left Behind” Event Quest.

How to Play Theater Mechanicus

In Theater Mechanicus, players must set up Mechanici that deal Elemental, Cryo, and Physical DMG, etc. to enemies throughout the arena in designated spots to prevent them from escaping the stage.

The Theater Mechanicus sub-event menu will appear on the screen after speaking with Komokata on Ritou island. It is divided into four stages, each of which is further divided into two levels, with the second stage being more difficult than the first.

Click on Start Wave to start the Wonderous Sticks menu which is divided into two types: Fortune Stick and Mystic Stick. You can apply buffs/debuffs to a stage by using Wonderous Sticks.

Since each stage has a point limit, you can only carry a certain number of sticks. It is recommended that the sticks be chosen based on a stage feature and type of enemies . For example, if the stage feature is “earn more points by dropping the opponent,” choose Mystic Stick: Falling.

Select Sticks based on Stage Feature

Following the selection of your Wonderous Sticks, you will be required to set up your team, which is a standard Party menu where you can switch characters. After you’ve chosen your team, enter the stage you’ve selected.

Show of Force

Show of Force is the first level of each stage. It has bridges and several spots where you can place towers. There will be a 10-minute timer to set up your towers and plan your strategy.

There are several Pyro, Anemo, and Banishment towers that are already up and running. You can dismantle, change or remove the towers.

The tower will damage enemies as they walk by them. You also need to perform actions such as closing bridges as they’re walked on to defeat certain enemies. Your Stage Score is tied to rewards, so you should aim to collect as many Veneficus points as possible.

Few Recommendation:
Use Geo Traveler to create a blockage for the enemies by blocking their path. It also deals Geo damage at the same time. Bow and Catalyst users can apply elements to enemies faster.
