How To Reach Captain Thomas in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
As players progress through the “For Whom the Bell Tolls” quest, you will need to carry the sacks to the charcoal shed. After placing the sacks inside the shed, you can talk to the blacksmith, who is located across from the shed.
Speak with the blacksmith and agree to help him craft a horseshoe. This will grant you access to the blacksmith’s area on the right side.
Head inside, but you don’t need to craft the horseshoe. Instead, find and talk to Cook Fanka. She will mention that she is waiting for the blacksmith to unlock her spice chest. Tell Fanka that you can help her.
Once she agrees, go behind her and check the shelf to grab some tools for lockpicking the chest.
After picking up the lockpick, speak with Fanka again. She will guide you to the cellar, where the chest is located. Follow her to reach the cellar and locate the spice chest in the basement. Use the lockpick to unlock the chest. Once the chest is open, Fanka will thank you and reward you by offering a meal in the kitchen upstairs.
Now, head into the kitchen, but stay alert. From here, you’ll need to move carefully to avoid drawing attention. Crouch as you approach the staircase and begin going to the upper floor. The first guard near the stairs won’t react to you, so you can pass by him without issue.
However, as you climb higher, you’ll encounter another guard standing near the next staircase. This second guard doesn’t move, which means you’ll need to distract him to get past. The best way to do this is by throwing a stone to lure him away from the stairs.
Once the guard moves to investigate, quickly and quietly head up the stairs. Keep climbing until you reach the top floor. You will finally find Thomas and his sister inside a room on the top floor.
