This guide will show you where to find all Bamboo Strikes so you can get every Spirit upgrade in the game Ghost of Yotei.

Ghost of Yotei has 15 Bamboo Strike spots. You get 2 from the main story mission, and the other 13 are found in the open world.

Bamboo Strike #1

The first Bamboo Strike is unlocked automatically and is part of the main mission “The Way of Dual Katana.”

Bamboo Strike #2

Automatically available and is part of the main mission “The Oni”

Yotei Grasslands

Bamboo Strike #3 – Home

You need to repair and use the broken bamboo strike at your home, located across from your father’s forge by the cliffs. On the map, it appears under ‘Home’.

Bamboo Strike #4 – Nupur River Bamboo Strike

It is located west of the Nupur River and north of the Crow’s Nest Watch Tower.

Bamboo Strike #5 – Yotei River Bamboo Strike

It is located in an open area, east of Mount Yotei and north of the river Yotei.

Ishikari Plain

Bamboo Strike #6 – Urara Bamboo Strike

Located in the southern part of Urara Forest.

Bamboo Strike #7 – Rumoi Bamboo Strike

Located north of the Rumoi River.

Tokachi Range

Bamboo Strike #8 – Huranui’s Rest Inn

This Bamboo Strike is located at Huranui’s Rest Inn, just outside to the left of the building where a group of ronin are standing. To begin the challenge, you’ll need to drink some Sake first.

Bamboo Strike #9 – Misty Valley Bamboo Strike

This Bamboo Strike becomes available only after completing the Mythic Tale: The Spider Lily General. Once the tale is finished, head into the Abandoned Tominaga Estate and make your way through the bamboo labyrinth to find it.
