Bounties in Ghost of Yotei are short side quests where your goal is to track down and eliminate a specific enemy target. You can pick up these Bounties from the bounty boards located at inns in each region. This guide will walk you through how to complete the Junpei the Snatcher in Ghost of Yotei, released on October 2, 2025.
Starting Location
The Junpei the Snatcher Bounty begins in the Tokachi Range, specifically at the Boar’s Eye Cave, located in the northeastern part of the region. As you make your way toward this area, the bounty will automatically trigger upon approaching the cave entrance. Speak with the NPC standing at the entrance and then proceed inside the cave.
Ghost of Yotei: Where to find Junpei the Snatcher Bounty Location
At the entrance of Boar’s Eye Cave, you’ll see a man (NPC) standing outside. Talk to him, and then follow him into the cave. After walking a short distance inside, the man will suddenly attack you near a ladder.
After the fight, climb up through the cave until you reach an enemy camp on top of a hill. Ensure that you defeat everyone before proceeding.
Once the area is safe, go to the north side of the camp and drop down into the cave below. Inside, you will find a prisoner locked. Free the prisoner, then help him escape by going back outside the way you came.
As soon as you climb back up to the camp with the prisoner, a cutscene will play, and Junpei the Snatcher will finally appear.
