How to Catch Gible in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Gible is one of the difficult Pokemon to find in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP). You won’t be able to find Gible until you have got the 6th gym badge. To find Gible, you will need to get Cut, Flash, & Strength Hidden Moves first. This guide shows how to get Cut, Flash, & Strength Hidden Moves and how to reach Gible Location.


‘Cut’ Hidden Move

Go to the highlighted location in Eterna City as shown in the picture below. As you reach the location, a cutscene will start in which an NPC named Cynthia will give you Technical Machine (TM) containing the ‘Cut’ Hidden Move. You won’t be able to use the move until you have obtained the Forest Badge from Eterna City Gym Leader, Gardenia.


‘Flash’ Hidden Move

Enter the Veilstone Department Store in the Veilstone City. Go to the third floor and purchase TM70 from the woman in the corner as shown below. This will give you the ‘Flash’ Hidden Move.


‘Strength’ Hidden Move

Enter the highlighted tower in Route 209 south of Solaceon Town. Go to the top of the tower and talk to the old lady there to get ‘Strength’ Hidden Move. You won’t be able to use ‘Strength’ until you have the 6th Gym badge.


Gible Location

Fly to Oregurgh City, and then move north to reach Route 207. On the right side of Route 207, you will find a ramp as shown in the picture below. Climb up the ramp.

After climbing up the ramp, proceed ahead to reach Route 206. On the right side of Route 206, you will see two small trees as shown below. cut the trees and proceed ahead.

Keep moving ahead until you reach a Ranger as shown in the picture below. From here, turn left to go under the bridge.

Come out from the other side of the bridge. Now stick to the north wall of the bridge as shown below. Then, Move two steps to the right and then move up to enter a hidden cave (Wayward cave).

The cave will be completely dark. Use ‘Flash’ to light up the cave. then use ‘Strength’ to move the boulder blocking your path.

Now that the path is clear, go downstairs. Explore the cave and there is a little chance that you will encounter Gible. Gible has a very small spawn rate (Around 10%). So, you may have to come here multiple times to find Gible.
