In the New Camp in Gothic 1 Remake, you’ll come across Homer, an NPC dealing with a growing Lurker problem near the camp’s dam. Starting Location
Once you’ve made your way into New Camp, head up toward the dam structure. You’ll find an NPC called Homer standing there, looking out over the water. Speak with Homer to begin the quest. He explains that he’s worried the dam could eventually collapse because a Lurker has been sharpening its teeth against the stone, slowly damaging the structure.
Where to find the Dam Lurker
After speaking with Homer, head back toward the main gate, but take the first left immediately after passing the dam. Follow the shoreline until you reach a rocky outcrop. You’ll find the Lurker on a small strip of land just below the dam.
Defeat the Lurker, then return to Homer to report your success. Grateful for your help, he’ll thank you for dealing with the threat.
