How to Unlock & Exit Grand Underground
To enter the Grand Underground, you will need an Explorer Kit. You will get the Explorer Kit in the Underground Man’s House, which is right next to Pokémon Center in Eterna City as shown in the picture below. Enter the house and talk to the Underground Man to receive the Explorer Kit. The Explorer Kit will be in your Bag’s Key Items pocket.
Once you have the Explorer Kit, go to your Bag’s Key Items pocket and use the Explorer Kit to enter the Grand Underground. Then you can explore the Grand underground.
How to Leave Grand Underground
Once you are done exploring the Grand Underground, press ‘Y’ and then select ‘Go up’ to exit the Grand Underground and go back to the surface.
How To Make Secret Base in Underground
Visit the Grand Undergorung at least once and go back to the Underground Man and talk to him again. he will ask you to dig treasure for him in the Grand Underground.
Go back to the Grand Underground, and look for the locations marked with a yellow diamond on the minimap. Pressing ‘R’ at such locations will reveal a glowing spot on the wall. Dig the wall at this spot and you might find a treasure as shown below.
Once you have found a treasure, go back to the Underground Man, and you will receive a Digger Drill from him.
Now go back to the Grand Underground, and use the Digger Drill to make a Secret base at the location of your choice. Walk to any wall, and Press ‘A’ to place the Secret base. Once inside, you can place different statues that will give you a different boost while down in the underground. You can find more statues by digging the walls, the same way you got the treasure before.
How to get Pokemon Fossil
Once you are in the Grand Underground, look for the locations marked with a yellow diamond on the minimap. Pressing ‘R’ at such locations will reveal a glowing spot on the wall. Dig the wall at this spot and you might find a Pokemon Fossil.
How to Revive Fossils to get Pokemon
Once you have a pokemon fossil, take it to the Oreburgh City Museum (See the pictures below for location). Talk to the NPC sitting in the reception and give him the fossil. Go outside and come back after some time to receive a Pokemon. Below is the list of Fossils and the Pokemon that you will get from that fossil.

How to Reach Every Location in the Grand Underground
There are a total of 6 regions in the Grand Underground as shown in the picture below.
To reach the center of the Grand Underground, go to the Celestic Town and use the Explorer Kit to reach the center. Other than the central location, there are 5 more locations in the Grand Underground. You can reach those locations by entering the Grand Underground from the 5 locations: Twinleaf Town, Eterna City, Snowpoint City, Sunyshore City & Fight area. The pictures below show the location of the 6 areas where you need to enter from to explore the complete Grand Underground.

Some of the Pokemon will be available as soon you unlock the Grand Underground. As you progress in the game, more Pokemon keep unlocking as you have met certain criteria. 6) Unlock National Pokedex
A lot of Pokemon will be available after you have unlocked the National Pokedex. To unlock the National Pokedex, you need to defeat the Elite 4 and register all 150 Pokemon to the Sinnoh Pokedex. Then go and talk to the Professor in Sandgem town to get the National Pokedex. Once it is unlocked, all the underground Pokemon will be available for you.
