This guide shows how to get all 5 Minikits and all 3 Level Challenges in the Ground A Salt mission in the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The map below shows the locations of the Minikits and other important locations that I will be referring to in the article.
Ground A Salt: All Level Challenges
I Can Dig it!
Details: Punch your way through the crystal caves.
Go to the location marked as ‘A’ on the map and destroy all the boxes there. Then build a Boxing Glove Drill as shown in the picture below. Now stand on the red button on the right side to get a Gonk Droid. Mount the Gonk Droid and place it on the switch behind the Boxing Glove Drill. Now use the Boxing Glove Drill to punch your way through the crystal caves.
Tight Squeeze
Details: Discover a shortcut via the Protocol terminal.
Go to the location marked as ‘B’ on the map and use the C3PO terminal on the stairs as shown in the picture below. Through this terminal, take control of the droid behind the closed door. Use this droid to get the Crait Service Tunnel Doors password from the terminal marked as a Key icon on the map. Then take the droid to the location marked with a Lock symbol on the map and use the password to open the Crait Service Tunnel Doors. This will complete the challenge.
Knock-Knock!
Details: Discover the wind-up MSE droid to destroy the emergency doorway.
After opening the Crait Service Tunnel Doors as described in the previous challenge, go east to reach the location marked as ‘C’ on the map. Pull the plug from the ladder here as shown in the picture below. Then climb up the ladder to reach the terminal on the platform. Use the terminal to take control of the crusher and use it to destroy the container below. Now go down and build an MSE droid from the fallen blocks. Rotate the lever behind the MSE droid and it will move forward and destroy the emergency doorway ahead. This will complete the challenge.
Ground A Salt: Minikit 1/5
After drilling a hole through the crystal cave, as explained in the challenges, Go to the location marked as ‘1’ on the map. Then use a Breaker Blaster to break the cracked wall as shown below to get the Minikit.
Ground A Salt: Minikit 2/5
Go to the location marked as ‘2’ on the map and move the container underneath the feeder as shown in the picture below. Now pull the lever of the feeder. Then move the container back to its original location. Some animals will come and eat the food from the container and leave some blocks behind. Build the Minikit from these blocks.
Ground A Salt: Minikit 3/5
Go to the location marked as ‘3’ on the map. Destroy the debris as shown in the picture below to find the Minikit behind them.
Ground A Salt: Minikit 4/5
Open the Crait Service Tunnel Doors as explained in the challenges. Then go to the location marked as ‘4’ on the map and destroy the gold bars to get the Minikit as shown in the picture below.
Ground A Salt: Minikit 5/5
Go to the location marked as ‘5’ on the map. Here you will need to find and use 4 tiles to complete the jigsaw puzzle as shown below to get the Minikit. Destroy the boxes near the jigsaw to get the tiles. One tile is up on the platform in front of the jigsaw. Pull the plug from the ladder and climb up the platform to get this tile. Then complete the jigsaw puzzle using the tiles and get the Minikit.
