High-Quality Materials is a side quest to help Gemma in Monster Hunter Wilds. This guide will help players on how to complete the side mission ‘High-Quality Materials‘ in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Starting Location
Talk to Gemma at any base camp and accept the optional quest “High-Quality Materials“. In the quest High-Quality Materials, you need to obtain high-rank materials by defeating a Chatacabra. Refer to the image below.
Once the quest begins, you will get the objective to obtain the Chatacabra Hide+ from Chatacabra. Chatacabra can be found in Area 7 of the Windward Plains. After eliminating a Chatacabra, salvage it to obtain Chatacabra Hide+. Refer to the image below.
Head back to Gemma when you’ve obtained the Chatacabra Hide+ from Chatacabra, and speak to her to end the optional quest and receive your reward. You will earn 100 Guild Points.
How to defeat Chatacabra
Thunder is the most effective element against Chatacabra. Aim for its torso to maximize Thunder damage.
