This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Professor Garlick’s Assignment 2 Main Mission. Professor Garlick wants me to grow and harvest a Fluxweed plant and acquire all three combat plants and use them simultaneously.
Requirement: You need to complete Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1
Grow and harvest Fluxweed
For the Fluxseed, go to Hogsmeade and enter the Tomes and Scrolls shop on the South Side of Hogsmeade. Here you can buy a Potting Table with a large pot spellcraft for 1000 Galleons. Refer to the below image for the location.
Next, head to the Magic Neep shop on the west side of Hogsmeade. Buy the Fluxweed Seed for 350 Galleons coins. Refer to the below image for the location.
Finally, go to the Secret room > Room of Requirement in Hogwarts, place the Potting Table somewhere in the room, and grow the Fluxweed, it takes 15 real-time minutes to grow the Fluxweed.

Conjure Spell > Herbology > Large Potting Table > Botanical Plotting Table with a Large Pot
Acquire all three combat plants and use them simultaneously
For this head north of Hogsmead to a small village name Dogweed and Deathcap. The location is marked on the map.
Enter the plant shop at Dogweed and Deathcap and talk to the shopkeeper, Beatrice Green. Here you can buy Venomous Tentacle for 600 Galleons, Mandrake for 500 Galleons, and Chinese Chomping Cabbages for 500 Galleons. Don’t bother buying them as seeds, the Combat Tools will be enough.
After purchasing Venomous Tentacle, hold L1 and then release to equip it. Press L1 once again to cast it. Similarly, do for Mandrake and Chinese Chomping Cabbages.
Return to Professor Garlick
Go to The Library Annex -> Greenhouses and talk to Professor Garlick. She’ll teach you Flipendo now.
