Crafting Kits are essential upgrades in Hollow Knight: Silksong, allowing players to strengthen Hornet’s Tools and push their damage to the maximum. In this guide, we’ll cover all Crafting Kit locations and explain how to use them to max out Tool damage.
Crafting Kit 1: Forge Daughter (Deep Docks)
The first Crafting Kit becomes available once you’ve unlocked the Silkspear ability and entered the Deep Docks. The Forge Daughter sells your first Crafting Kit for 180 Rosaries. You can find her east of the Bench.
Crafting Kit 2: Crawbug Clearing (Greymoor, Drifter’s Cloak Required)
The second kit requires the Drifter’s Cloak ability. Head to the Halfway Home in Greymoor. Refer to the map.
Talk to NPC Creige until he gives you the Crawbug Clearing quest, which requires 25 Crawbug Ragpelts. Ragpelts can be found on the far right side of Greymoor. Refer to the map below.
Keep farming until you have 25 Ragpelts, then return to Creige at Halfway Home to complete the quest and earn the second Crafting Kit.
Crafting Kit 3: Architect (Underworks, Clawline Required)
The third Crafting Kit can be obtained after unlocking the Clawline ability in Act 2. From the bench, marked on the map, use the Clawline ring to reach a platform, then jump across to meet the Twelfth Architect NPC.
He sells the kit for 450 Rosaries.
Crafting Kit 4: Grindle (Blasted Steps, Faydown Cloak Required)
The final Crafting Kit requires the Faydown Cloak ability. Grindle is a merchant located in the top left chamber of the Blasted Steps who sells the fourth and final Crafting Kit for 700 Rosaries.
