Elden Ring: Hornsent Grandam Complete Questline
This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the Hornsent Grandam NPC questline in Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, which released on 21st June 2023.
Step 1: Reach Hornsent Grandam Location & Talk to her
To reach the Hornsent Grandam location, you will need to collect the Storeroom Key first.
Storeroom Key Location
The location of the Storeroom Key is shown in the picture below. I will explain how to get there starting from Belurat, Tower Settlement Lost Grace. From the Lost Grace location, proceed ahead in the main alleyway in the east direction. Enter the building on the left side at the end of the path as shown in the second picture below. Climb to the first floor of the building to reach the Small Private Altar Lost Grace.
Exit the room from the door next to the Small Private Altar Lost Grace. Then go through the door on the right side to exit the building. Climb up the stairs ahead, then go left and take the narrow path going right as shown in the picture below.
Take left at the end of the narrow path. Proceed ahead and defeat the enemies in the next area. Then turn left again and enter the room on the right side as shown in the picture below. Climb up the ladder inside the room and get the Storeroom Key from the corpse as shown in the second picture below.
Where to use Storeroom Key
Trace your path back to the Small Private Altar Lost Grace. Exit the room from the door next to the Small Private Altar Lost Grace. Then go through the door on the left side to exit the building. Cross the bridge straight ahead and open the door on the left side using the Storeroom Key as shown in the picture below. Go inside and talk to Hornsent Grandam there.
Step 2: Defeat the Divine Beast Dancing Lion
Go to the Stagefront Grace location. Then go through the foggy wall to find the area boss, Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Defeat it and then collect the Divine Beast Head.
Step 3: Talk to Hornsent Grandam
Equip the Divine Beast Head and talk to Hornsent Grandam. after the dialogue is over, you will get the Watchful Spirit incantation.
Step 4: Return to Hornsent Grandam to get Scorpion Stew
Rest and Return to Hornsent Grandam. She will now give you Scorpion Stew whenever you don’t have it.
Step 5: Defeat Messmer the Impaler
Defeat Messmer the Impaler, who is the area boss of Shadow Keep. You will find him near Dark Chamber Entrance Lost Grace as shown in the pictures below.
Step 6: Talk to Hornsent Grandam to get Gourmet Scorpion Soup
Return and talk to Hornsent Grandam. She will now give you Gourmet Scorpion Soup whenever you don’t have it.
