This walkthrough will guide you on how to acquire and use a Mandrake on Multiple Enemies Simultaneously in the main quest Professor Garlick’s Assignment. In this mission, you’re required to use a Venomous Tentacula and then use a Mandrake on multiple enemies.

Acquire and Use a Venomous Tenatacula
As the mission starts your objective is to “Acquire and use a Venomous Tenatacula”. For this head north of Hogsmead to a small village name Dogweed and Deathcap. The location is marked on the map.
Enter the plant shop at Dogweed and Deathcap and talk to the shopkeeper, Beatrice Green.
Here you can buy Venomous Tentacle for 600 Galleons and a Mandrake for 500 Galleons. Mandrake is needed for the next objective. Don’t bother buying them as seeds, the Combat Tools will be enough.
After purchasing Tentacula, hold L1 and then release to equip it. Press L1 once again to cast it.
Acquire and Use a Mandrake on Multiple Enemies Simultaneously
Now head outside and look for a group of enemies (at least two enemies with red markers) close to each other.
Press L1 and then select Mandrake. Then use the plant on the enemies and it’ll scream at them.
