If you’re diving into Monster Hunter Wilds and want to track down rare endemic life like the Vigorwasp, you’re in the right place. In this guide, we’ll break down where to find Vigorwasp creatures in Monster Hunter Wilds, the best strategies to catch them, and any special conditions you’ll need to watch out for.
How to get a Vigorwasp in Monster Hunter Wilds
You will get the objective of capturing Vigorwasp by your Palico during the side quest ‘Healing Help‘ in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Speak with your Palico at your base. He will task you to collect some Vigorwasp to help them in their upgrade. Vigorwasp can be found in various locations, including Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and the Ruins of Wyveria. Vigorwasps appear to spawn only during a plentiful phase and do not seem to appear at all during a fallow phase.

Some of the exact locations to find Vigorwasp are located in Area 2 and Area 12 of the Scarlet Forest, as shown in the image above. Travel to any of these locations to locate Vigorwasp. Once you’ve spotted a vigorwasp, equip your capture net and approach the giant vigorwasp. Fire the capture net to catch Vigorwasp.

After successfully capturing Vigorwasp, head back to camp and talk to your Palico to end the ‘Healing Help‘ side quest and collect your reward: 10 Mega Potions and 50 Guild Points
