How to Catch Gravid Bowfin
You will get the objective to capture a Gravid Bowfin during the side quest ‘Fishing for Flavor’ in Monster Hunter Wilds. Gravid Bowfins can be spotted throughout the Windward Plains. It normally appears in various bodies of water across the region. One of the locations is in the oasis located in Area 13 of the Windward Plains.
The Gillopod spawns in the area during the Daytime when the Plenty Environment setting is active.

Gravid Bowfin is a little tricky to catch so it’s better to use Emerald Jitterbait to catch Gravid Bowfin.
How to Catch Whopper
You will get the objective to capture a Whopper by NPC Kanya during the side quest ‘The Catch of a Lifetime!‘ in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Whoppers are the largest fish in the game and they can only be found in deep fishing spots. A recommended location to catch them is Area 17: The Great Lake Shore in the Scarlet Forest.

Grand Escunite can be found in Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. A recommended location to catch them is inside the waterfall cave in Area 8. The Grand Escunite spawns in the waterfall cave in Area 8 during the Evening when the Plenty Environment setting is active.
