In Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, if a vampire bites you and you don’t heal the sickness in 3 game days, you’ll become a vampire the next time you take a nap. This article will guide the player on how to cure vampirism when your character turns into a vampire, without doing the big, hard quest in the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered.
How to cure vampirism in Oblivion Remastered
Before you cure it, make sure you’re a vampire. Open your menu, go to Magic or Effects, and look for vampire powers or something that says ‘Vampirism’.

You can cure vampirism at the Font of Renewal, which is on a little island called Deepscorn Hollow in the bottom right corner of the map. To reach there fast travel to Leyawiin, then walk to the Deepscorn Hollow island.

Once you’re there, you’ll get a quest called Deepscorn Hollow. Follow the marker and dive into the water. Inside the water, look for a big wooden log and swim inside it to find a secret underwater entrance.

Go through the door, swim up for air, and walk through the west door. Head down the stairs until you find a pool with a stone in it—that’s the Font of Renewal.

To cure your vampirism, you need a special item called purgeblood salt. Look for a shiny crystal in the room—it gives you the salt. Grab it, go to the Font, and use it to get cured.
