The Precipice of Echoes Ruins is one of the Ancient Ruins puzzle challenges in Crimson Desert. It looks confusing when you first walk in, but once you understand how the mechanic works, it’s actually one of the more straightforward puzzles in the game. This guide covers the location, how the puzzle works, and the exact steps required to solve the Precipice of Echoes Ruins Puzzle at Roberts Estate in Crimson Desert.
Location: Precipice of Echoes Ancient Ruins
The Precipice of Echoes Ruins is located in Hernand, in the Roberts Estate area, south of Fort Perwin. It shows up on your map as a Mysterious Energy icon.

Mechanism: Precipice of Echoes Ancient Ruins
In this puzzle, your goal is to connect matching symbols by walking across a grid of tiles in a continuous path. You begin by stepping on a tile with a symbol, and from there, you must carefully move across adjacent tiles to reach the tile that has the same matching symbol. You cannot step on the same tile more than once, and you must stay within the grid at all times.
Step-by-Step Solution
Section 1
Step on the middle tile in the first row to begin the puzzle, then move forward four tiles to reach the next matching symbol.

Section 2
This section introduces more symbols. The key rule here is to move in a path that connects to the same symbol.
You are already standing on a symbol, so walk straight ahead to reach its matching tile.

From there, step onto the nearby fish symbol and follow the path as shown on the grid to reach the matching fish on the other side.

Next, move to the triangle symbol and follow the path until you reach its matching tile.

Section 3
The final set is more complex, and you must avoid stepping on the same tile twice.
You are already standing on a triangle symbol, so walk ahead to reach its matching tile. Follow the path as shown below.

Step onto the fish tile. Don’t go directly to the next matching symbol. You need to take a detour around the nearby symbols to reach the fish symbol.

Step on the next nearby symbol as shown on the map. Follow the path shown in the image below to reach the matching symbol.

Step on the next nearby wave/river symbol as shown on the map. Follow the path shown in the image below to reach the matching symbol.

Finally, step on the last symbol, just near the wave symbol, and follow the straight line to reach its matching symbol.
