Starting Location
Speak with Alyx at the main tent of the Caverns of Time to initiate the quest – The Great Detective. She is wearing a white dress and is the Volunteer Assistant Guest Relations Manager.
The Great Detective Walkthrough
After starting the quest, head to the stage area where Athlon Jones is seated on one of the benches in front of the stage. Speak with him, and he’ll give your help in finding the missing guest.
Start by talking to Eleanor, the pink-haired girl. Then move on to the dwarf, asking him the same questions. Next, speak with the Demon Hunter. Finally, speak with the pink-haired girl again.
Next, fly north across the mountains to reach the beach with coconut trees.
Use the Torch of Pyth and inspect the sand pile near the trees to reveal a hidden corpse.
Speak with a nearby NPC named Scratch.
Then talk to the fisherman and a woman named Julia.
Return to the body and report your findings to Athlon Jones. Accuse Scrapes of the murder. After this Scrapes will escape on a boat to end the the quest.
