Santa Monica Studio mentions that to download the DLC, you’ll need to have either a physical or digital copy of God of War Ragnarok, and then download the DLC for free from the PlayStation Store. You don’t need to load the game up to begin the download, nor do you need to have completed the main game’s story before you’re given the option to download it.
