This article will guide you on how to complete the objective “Examine the Satellite (Avoid Detection)” for the mission “The Old Neighborhood” in the game Starfield.
As you progress through the mission “The Old Neighborhood,” you’ll need to travel to Venus. When you arrive in orbit, shut down your ship to evade the Zealots and stay in stealth mode. At this point, Sarah will teach you how to be sneaky in space.
Sarah will tell you to turn down all power to your ship’s system except the engine. Weapons and shields, for example, are simpler to detect.
Turn down all systems except the engine for maximum stealth. You can leave one or two power bars in your engine.
Slowly make your way over to the satellite after dropping the power on your engine. When you’re close to the satellite, hit “Target” (E for PC). This will bring up the “Activate” prompt to examine the satellite.
