This walkthrough guide will show you how to get and farm Blood Moon Essence. Blood Moon Essence is used to purchase items from the Bloodmooon Altar, like the Knotted armor set or the Faded Grimoire.
Step 1: Get Blood Moon Essence
Wait for the extremely rare Blood Moon Event at Yaesha. Keep interacting with the checkpoint to trigger it. It might take 30-40 tries.
When the Blood Moon is in the sky, you will find Pink Wasps flying in the area. Shoot them to get Blood Moon Essence. Pink Wisps only spawn when there’s a Blood Moon – check the sky if it’s red.
Step 2: Farm Blood Moon
Remember the location of Pink Wasp, Then go through the foggy wall and return back for the Wasp respawn. This is helpful if you need to collect more Blood Moon Essences. For example, you need to collect 15 Blood Moon Essence in total to purchase Faded Grimoire.
