Starting Location
To begin the quest, head to the western shore of the large lake in Sunpetal Plains. Near the lake, you will find a Dressmaker NPC standing close to the shoreline. Speak with her to accept the quest.
Where to Find a Regalfin in Monster Hunter Stories 3
As the quest starts, the Dressmaker will ask you to locate a Regalfin. She will mention that these dolphin-like animals can be found in the water inside nearby caves, not in the open lake.
To find the Regalfin, first make your way to the island in the middle of the larger lake, as marked by the quest. Once you reach the island, move around the outer side of the island. As you circle the island, you will notice a cave opening connected to the water.
Enter the cave and follow the path inside. After moving a little deeper into the cave, you will spot the Regalfin swimming calmly in the water.
With the objective complete, leave the cave and return to the Dressmaker at the lake in Sunpetal Plains. Speak with her again and tell her about the Regalfin to finish the quest.
