Where to Find a Horse in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
A player can obtain a horse early by completing the sidequest Runaway Horse in the Hyrule Ranch.
Starting Location
Go to Hyrule Ranch and talk to the Old Man (NPC). He’ll mention that one of his horses is missing and will ask for your help in finding it.
To locate the missing horse, travel southwest from the ranch. You’ll find the horse stranded on an island. The location is shown below.
Bring the horse back to the Old Man, and he will reward you with a horse of your own.
