Looking for the Black Needle in Mortal Shell 2? This guide shows you where to find the weapon and how to unlock it by completing the Sester’s Gate dungeon and defeating the Sester bosses.

Start by fast-traveling to the Abbey Entrance Beacon. From the beacon, follow the stairs on the left and keep heading upward until you reach a grated gate.
Go through the gate and immediately turn right. Continue along the path as it winds around the ruined structure. Keep an eye out for a wooden ramp ahead.
Once you find the ramp, go up it and continue forward. You will come across two small sets of stairs. Climb both of them and keep following the path.
After the second set of stairs, look for another small staircase on the left. Go up these stairs, then turn right and continue ahead.
Follow the path to the end. Here, you will find another set of stairs leading downward. Go down the stairs to reach the Sester’s Bastion Beacon.
Sester’s Gate Dungeon Walkthrough
The Sester’s Bastion dungeon is pretty straightforward. You will need to use your sidearm to shoot several bells throughout the dungeon to repair broken paths, allowing you to cross the gaps and continue forward.
Start by entering Sester’s Bastion and follow the main path straight ahead. Keep moving forward until you reach a room with a broken path and a large gap in the middle. Look toward the front of the room, and you will find two bells. The first bell is on the left side near the candle, while the second bell is on the right side. Shoot both bells with your sidearm. Shoot them to create a path and cross to the other side.
In the next large area, you will find a broken bridge. You need to find and shoot three more bells to create the path across the bridge. From the start of the broken bridge, head left and follow the path. As you move along the bridge, you will find the three bells.
The first bell is on the left side, the second bell is on the right side, and the third bell is underneath the bridge pillar at the far end. Shoot them to complete the bridge path.
Once all three bells have been activated, return to the start of the broken bridge. Cross the bridge and continue forward.
You will then find a wind current that can carry you up toward the boss area.
In the boss area, you will face Twin Sesters. Defeat the Twin Sesters to obtain the Black Needle as your reward.
