Bastigor is one of the powerful late-game Pals you can find in Palworld 1.0. While it isn’t particularly rare once you reach its habitat, capturing one can be challenging due to its low catch rate. This article will guide the player on where to find Bastigor and the best way to catch it.
Bastigor Location
To find Bastigor, travel to the World Tree region and head toward Boreal Summit. Refer to the location on the map below. Once you arrive, fly around the snowy area. Bastigor spawns naturally in the open world and is fairly common throughout the region. You’ll usually spot several roaming the area, so finding one isn’t the difficult part.
How to Capture Bastigor
Although Bastigor appears frequently, it has a very low capture rate. Before attempting to catch one:
- Lower its HP as much as possible.
- Bring high-tier Pal Spheres.
For the best chance of success, use:
- Exotic Sphere
- Ancient Sphere (recommended)
Even when Bastigor is reduced to very low health, the capture chance remains quite low, so expect to use multiple high-quality spheres before successfully catching one.
Can You Breed Bastigor?
Unlike many other Pals, Bastigor can only be bred with another Bastigor to produce a Bastigor egg. There are currently no alternate breeding combinations that result in this Pal. If you’re planning to build a breeding farm, you’ll first need to capture at least two Bastigors.
