Star Wars Outlaws: How to get BT-009S Fastshot Trigger
This guide shows how to get the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger in the Flyer Ridge cave near Typhon’s Rock in Star Wars Outlaws, released on 30th August 2024.
Reach Typhon’s Rock Secret Cave (Flyer Ridge)
Go to the location shown in the pictures below. There you will find a cave entrance.
There will be wind coming from the cave that will stop you from entering the cave. When the wind stops momentarily, quickly run inside the cave and hide behind the wall as shown in the picture below. The wind will start blowing again. When it stops, quickly run inside and hide behind the next wall. Wait behind the wall, and when the wind stops again, jump down the trench in the ground ahead.
Use your grapple to go further down the cave. There you will see a breakable wall as shown in the picture below. Use the Blast Module to break the wall. If you don’t have the blast module yet, then proceed in the main story until you get it. There is no other way to continue without the Blast Module.
After breaking the wall, enter the tunnel. Proceed ahead and exit the tunnel. Then enter the next tunnel. Exit the tunnel and then use the grapple to go down the hole in the ground. This will take you to the secret underground area, Flyer Ridge, as shown in the picture below.
BT-009S Fastshot Trigger Location
Go right from the entry location, and climb up the wall as shown in the picture below. There you will see a rock blocking a vent. Use the Blast Module to break the rock. Then go through the tunnel. Exit the tunnel and then use the grapple to jump to the platform across the gap. Proceed ahead and jump across another gap.
Continue ahead and soon you will find a hole in the wall on the right side with wind coming through it as shown in the picture below. Climb up the wall up to the slit. When the wind stops, quickly climb further up. Then jump to the opposite wall and climb up to the top.
Proceed ahead and climb up the wall on the right side. Then continue ahead in the dark path. At the end of the path, you will slide down a slope. Jump at the end of the slope, and quickly grab the wall ahead. Then climb up to the platform. From this platform, jump down to the ground below. This is a high jump and you may lose quite a bit of health.
There you will find a few breakable rocks. You will find a few items by breaking these rocks. Behind one of the rocks, you will find a shutter as shown in the picture below. Break this rock. so that the shutter is clear. Now go and stand on the steel platform as shown in the second picture below. While standing on the steel platform, instruct Nix to open the shutter. Then quickly shoot the generator behind the shutter with the pulse module. This will make the platform move up, taking you up with it.
After reaching the top, open the chests there to find the first treasure. Then jump across the gap to reach the second treasure chest as shown in the picture below. Open it to get BT-009S Fastshot Trigger. This completes the area.
