The Baby Wyvern is one of the most adorable and useful legendary pets you can obtain in Crimson Desert. Not only does this tiny dragon companion follow you on your adventures, but it can also collect loot from defeated enemies. If you’re wondering how to unlock this rare pet, this guide will walk you through every step, from finding the Wyvern Egg to hatching it into your very own Baby Wyvern.
Baby Wyvern Location
To begin your hunt, head toward the southern region beyond Delesiya and Dwhaven. Make your way to Three Brothers Cliff as shown on the map, near the Wyvern’s Cradle. If you haven’t liberated this region yet, be prepared to deal with hostile enemies before you can explore safely and interact with the area properly.
Finding the Hidden Chamber
Once you arrive at the Wyvern nesting grounds, you’ll notice several nests scattered throughout the area. From there, jump down into the lower section and head toward the stairs on the left side. Follow the path until you reach a sealed entrance hidden within the cliffside.
If you’re unable to interact with the wall, look for an NPC nearby. Speaking with this character is required to progress. After the conversation ends, the NPC will disappear, allowing you to activate the hidden entrance.
Use Focus Bomb on the wall to open the passage and gain access to the chamber inside. Inside the hidden room, you’ll find a treasure chest and a Wyvern Egg resting nearby. Pick up the egg and add it to your inventory.
How to Hatch the Wyvern Egg
Exit the chamber and head toward the nest located to the right of the area.
Once you arrive at the nest:
- Open your inventory.
- Locate the Wyvern Egg.
- Select Use.
- Press the placement button to carefully place the egg in the center of the nest.
You’ll know you’ve positioned it correctly when the egg begins to glow. At this point, all that’s left to do is wait.
Waiting for the Egg to Hatch
The incubation process takes approximately three to five minutes. After time has passed, a prompt will appear instructing you to “Hatch the Wyvern Egg.” Interact with the egg, and the shell cracks open, revealing your brand-new Baby Wyvern Legendary Pet.
Once hatched, the Baby Wyvern is automatically registered to your account and summoned as your active pet.
