The Sacred Sword is one of the most powerful and sought-after weapons in Silent Hill f and is an exclusive weapon to New Game+. This guide will show you step by step how to get the Sacred Sword, so that you can add this legendary weapon to your arsenal.
Jizo Statue 1 & Offering (Sacred Sword)
To obtain the Sacred Sword in Silent Hill f, players must make offerings to the Jizo Statues. There are five different items required, and each one must be offered to a different Jizo statue to complete the ritual and unlock the weapon.
How to Get Sacred Sword (Katana) in Silent Hill f
In New Game+, go to the neighbor’s house that’s east of the Hokora Shrine in Ebisugaoka. Go upstairs to the second floor and look in the back rooms on the left side.
There, you’ll find the Balcony Key in a cardboard box next to a doll in a glass box at the bottom of a bookshelf.
Take the key and use it to open the balcony door. Then, enter the room located to the right of the balcony. Inside, you’ll get A Boy’s Diary and the Treasure Hunting Game Key on the desk.
Now go back downstairs to the pantry (small room attached to the kitchen). Inside, unlock the small wooden chest to find the Faded Bride Doll.
How to Use Faded Bride Doll
After obtaining the Faded Bride Doll, your next step is to locate the first Jizo Statue in Silent Hill f. This statue can be found in Chapter 1, along the path leading to the Chizuruya General Store, opposite the red color letter box. Keep an eye on your surroundings as you approach the store, since the statue is placed slightly off the main road.
Once you reach it, interact with the statue to offer the Faded Bride Doll. This offering is part of the ritual required to unlock the Sacred Sword.
Jizo Statue 2 & Offering (Rusted Flask)
The Rusted Flask can be found during Chapter 3 on your second visit to Ebisugaoka Fields (Fog Town), but only in New Game+. While heading toward Rinko’s House, take the forest path, and you’ll come across a gravestone surrounded by tiny white fox figurines. The Rusted Flask will be resting at the gravestone.
Offer to the 2nd Jizo Statue
The Rusted Flask must be offered to the second Jizo Statue in Ebisugaoka Fields during Chapter 3 of New Game+. The statue is located south of where you found the Rusted Flask, along the forest path.
Jizo Statue 3 & Offering (Broken Japanese Geta Sandals)
In New Game+ Chapter 5, before entering Ebisugaoka Middle School, look for a hidden path near the school entrance. Follow this path downward and head down the stairs. Refer to the location below.
At the end, you’ll come across some wooden planks and a box.You’ll find the Broken Japanese Geta Sandals on the gound between wooden planks and box.
Offer to the 3rd Jizo Statue
Once you have the Broken Japanese Geta Sandals, you’ll need to offer them to the third Jizo Statue. This statue is located along the mountain path that connects Ebisugaoka to the Middle School.
As you follow the path, look carefully near the houses, as shown in the map below. The statue is slightly hidden, tucked away in a small corner outside the nearby houses. Interact with the statue and place the sandals as an offering to continue the ritual needed to unlock the Sacred Sword.
Jizo Statue 4 & Offering (Cracked Hibachi Brazier)
In Chapter 8 of New Game, you can also find the Cracked Hibachi Brazier.
Go behind the Shu’s House and look for a small shed. Outside the shed, near a pile of wooden planks, the brazier will be waiting for you.
After obtaining the Cracked Hibachi Brazier in New Game+, go to the Hokora Shrine along the Ebisugaoka Mountain Path. There, you’ll find the fourth Jizo Statue near a wooden fence. Offer the brazier at this statue to continue the ritual.
Jizo Statue 4 & Offering (Dad’s Old Kitchen Knife)
Dad’s Old Kitchen Knife is stuck in an old tree near a house. Refer to the map below.
In New Game+, the last Jizo Statue can be found just northeast of Shu’s House.
After offering items to all five Jizo Statues, make your way to the Divine Tree located just west of Ebisugaoka Middle School. Approach the tree to get the Sacred Sword.
