Step 1: Progress the Main Story
First, you need to advance the main story of the game until you obtain the Rift Anomaly Modulator. This device is automatically awarded during the quest “An Instrument to Unfold Space and Time.”
Step 2: Return to Paradise Island
Once you’ve obtained the Rift Anomaly Modulator, make your way back to Paradise Island. Now, head toward the cave named Crabble Spawning Grounds. It is situated near the landing pad on the island’s coast.
Step 3: Navigate the Krabble Spawning Grounds
Go inside the cave and head to the left of the first part of the cave until you reach a spot where you can drop down to the beach.
Once you’re on the beach, head into the next section of the cave and stick to the right side wall. After a short walk, you’ll find a strange glowing rift. This is the first rift anomaly.
Interact with the first rift anomaly. Now, look to your left to find another glowing rift. Cross the plank to reach the second rift anomaly and interact with it.
Step 4: The Trick to Reaching the Shrink Ray
Stand on the wooden planks and wait a few seconds for the second rift anomaly to start resetting. As the glowing structures begin to fade away, jump quickly to reach the upper platform that appears above you.
Once you land safely, check the locker at the top to discover the Shrink Ray.
