How to get the Tunic of Memories in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

In this article, I’ll show you how to obtain a special piece of clothing called the Tunic of Memories, which is the Champion’s Tunic from Breath of the Wild. The Champions Tunic is not one of the available armor sets in Tears of the Kingdom. However, if you still want to wear it for nostalgia’s sake, you can acquire it as the Tunic of Memories.

Step 1: Complete the quest “A Call From The Depths

To begin the “A Call From the Depths” side quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, go to the Great Plateau, located south of the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower.

Once you arrive, you’ll notice a massive rock wall with water pouring out.

Destroy the boulders to drain the water, then enter inside and interact with the strange stone.

This will prompt a voice to instruct you to proceed toward the “Temple of Time.” Head north to the Temple of Time, where the Goddess Statue will inform you about her stolen “eyes.” This will trigger the initiation of the side quest “A Call From the Depths.”

Goddess Statue Eye Locations

Here are the four locations where you can find the Goddess’s eyes.

Location #1

At this location will see a pile of rocks embedded into a wall. Shatter these rocks to find the eye. Your objective is to locate the goddess’s eye and place them into the Chasm pit.

Then bring them to the Great Abandoned Mine situated at the center of that region. Use nearby Zonaite Devices to take it to the Central Mine.

Location #2

At this location, the mountain will be full of ice-filled structures. Break the ice structures to uncover the eye, and then throw it into the nearby Chasm. Use nearby Zonaite Devices to take it to the Central Mine.

Location #3

The eye you need is at the bottom of a small creek. Use the Ultrahand ability to pull the eye out of the water and drop it into the Chasm nearby. Use nearby Zonaite Devices to take it to the Central Mine.

Location #4

The Chasm is situated atop a mountain, and you can reach it by employing Recall on the fallen rock close to the water. As the rock soars into the sky, swiftly seize the opportunity to snatch the eye concealed beneath it. Use nearby Zonaite Devices to take it to the Central Mine.

Insert each eye into the four slots on the statue’s head. Once you’ve placed all four, the Bargainer Statue will wake. You can choose to receive either one heart or one stamina segment as your reward. The quest will end here.

After completing the quest, talk to the statue again. This time, it will present you with an opportunity to acquire the Depths Armor Set and Dark Armor Set by trading Poe.

Step 2: Interact with Bargainer Statues At Lookout Landing

Once you have made the offering, it will also unlock the Poe Statue at the Lookout Landing ( Poe shop). Head to Lookout Landing. There’s a pole statue that will give you the Dark Tunic for 150 poe.

Additionally, by offering more poe, the statue reveals the location of the next pole statue. Here I’m giving the location of other statues so that you don’t have to waste your Poe.

Step 3: Talked to all the other Five Bargainer statues

Talked to all the other statues in the depths, and a new item will be available for purchase: the Tunic of Memories, priced at 400 poe at the end.

  • First statue: Dark tunic
  • Second statue: Tunic of the depths
  • Third statue: Dark trousers
  • Fourth statue: Gators of the depths (boots)
  • Fifth statue: Dark Hood
  • Sixth statue: Hood of the Depths
  • Seventh statue: Tunic of memories
