Is It the Right Week? Check the Weekly Rotation of the Mount
This mount is only available during the week that the Broken Throne ritual site is active. The Broken Throne rotates between two zones: Zul’Aman and Eversong Woods. You need the Zul’Aman week specifically.
To confirm it’s the right week, open your map and look for the Ritual Site: Broken Throne icon at the bottom of Zul’Aman. If that icon isn’t showing up, it’s simply not the correct week. Come back next time the cycle rolls around.
Step 1: Get Six Practically Pork Before You Start
Before you enter the ritual site, make sure you have six Practically Pork in your inventory. You can farm it from enemies in the open world, or save time by buying it from the Auction House.
Here’s how you’ll use them:
- 1 piece: Feed the Lost Bear Cub to unlock the Chubs companion pet
- 5 pieces: Feed the Angry Ammani War Bear after the fight to claim the mount
Step 2: Enter the Ritual Site at Tier 2 or Higher
Head to the ritual site obelisk in Zul’Aman and start any Tier 2 or higher encounter. Tier 1 won’t count, so skip it. Tier 2 is the easiest option and gets the job done without much effort.
Step 3: Find the Lost Bear Cub
Once you’re inside the ritual site, head toward the staircase area marked on your map. Climb about halfway up, then drop down into the small corner below.
Look for the Lost Bear Cub. It will appear on your screen when you’re nearby. Interact with it and feed it one Practically Pork to unlock the companion pet Chubs. You can learn it right away from your inventory.
Don’t skip this step. You’ll need him for the next part.
Step 4: Head North to the Chewed Meat
Starting from the cub’s spot, go back up the stairs and continue north toward the next marked location. On the ground, you’ll notice a piece of Chewed Meat, but you won’t be able to use it right away.
To activate it, open your Pet Journal, locate Chubs, and summon him so he’s by your side. Once he’s out, you’ll be able to interact with the Chewed Meat.
Step 5: Defeat the Angry Ammani War Bear
When you interact with the Chewed Meat with Chubs summoned, the Angry Ammani War Bear will spawn in the area. Defeat the boss.
Step 6: Feed the Bear and Claim Your Mount
Once the Angry Ammani War Bear is defeated, you need to speak with it after the fight. From there, feed it the remaining five Practically Pork, and it will reward you with the Witherbark Warbear Harness.
Finally, learn it from your inventory, and the mount is available for you to use.
